Minimal requirements for festival entrance consideration: Registrants are required to submit a CD or DVD with two contrasting pieces, demonstrating performance level utilizing the guidelines below. At least one of the listed selections is required; the second selection may be of the applicant's choice: One movement of a sonata, concerto, or concert piece at the level of the repertoire listed below. VIOLIN

• J.S. Bach - Sonata or Partita for Solo Violin
• One movement or excerpt from a concerto or sonata from the standard violin repertoire.

VIOLA

• Telemann - Concerto in D Major (two contrasting mvts)
• One movement or excerpt from a concerto or sonata from the standard viola repertoire.

VIOLONCELLO

• J.S. Bach - Six Suites for Solo Cello (one mvt)
• One movement or excerpt from a concerto or sonata from the standard violoncello repertoire.

CONTRABASS

• J.S. Bach - one movement from any of the six solo suites.
• One movement or excerpt from a concerto or sonata from the standard contrabass repertoire.
